Chapter 1211

Jonathan brought the children to a restaurant and ordered a large amount of food. However, they showed little appetite.

"I thought you all were hungry?" Their lack of enthusiasm puzzled Jonathan.

Estella slowly took a bite of dessert. "I'm not hungry. I just don't want to stay with that bad lady. Why is she still hanging around the hospital after Daddy asked her to leave?"

Archie and Benny were equally distracted. They'd only left the hospital to give their parents some privacy, but regretted it since leaving. They remembered their parents always argued when spending time together and feared a repeat.

"You three aren't actually hungry, are you?" Jonathan grinned, seeing through their pretense.

The children lowered their heads guiltily, their fists clenched. A flicker of confusion crossed Jonathan's eyes. He observed their identical behavior. "Is it just me, or do they look like they were made from the same mold? Even their guilty reactions are identical. I know Roxanne gave birth to all three, but I feel like I can see Lucian's childhood self in the boys. If that's the case, maybe it's a good thing if Lucian gets back together with Roxanne."

His expression softened. "Tell me the truth. You three want Mr. Farwell to stay with your mommy, right?"

The children remained silent, heads bowed. Finally, Archie met Jonathan's gaze. "Yes, we do. Mr. Farwell treats us well."

Jonathan teased, "You know, I can treat you all well, too. See, I even brought you all out to eat."

The children were speechless.

He chuckled, patting their heads. "I'm kidding. I'm Mr. Farwell's best friend. Don't worry; I won't snatch your mommy away from him."

The children sighed with relief.

"You know, I feel the same way you three do. Let's do our best together, okay?"

His words delighted them. Benny, the most enthusiastic, whispered, "Yeah!" Archie and Estella nodded.

Grinning, Jonathan said, "If you three are worried about them, finish your food quickly, and I'll send you all back."

The children beamed, banished their worries, and enjoyed their meal.

Meanwhile, Jack's car pulled up to the hospital entrance. After confirming the hospital's name with a recent message, he entered the building. Roxanne was a crucial business partner, and he felt responsible for her well-being, especially given the severity of the gas poisoning. Since Lucian had taken her, he'd been searching for her whereabouts.
