Chapter 1769: Is There Something on My Face?

Archie and Benny had always been independent, a trait Estella had also learned to emulate. After the three washed up, Lucian checked on them and offered compliments. It was then time to change. Estella helped her brothers choose their outfits, selecting a cool, casual look.

After Archie and Benny changed, she proudly approached Lucian. "Look, Daddy. Are my choices good? I want to be a fashion designer someday. Is that okay?"

"Of course! I think you might make a great fashion designer, Essie," Lucian replied, his indulgence evident. Archie added his praise: "Daddy, I truly think Essie is talented. She can even design and trim clothes herself now."

Benny chimed in, "Exactly, Daddy! Essie promised to make us handmade clothes for our birthday next year. We're both looking forward to it!" He giggled, revealing Estella's secret.

Though shy, Estella received loving pats on the head from her brothers. Lucian beamed, "That's great! You've found your passion, Essie. Like your brothers, you are all our pride and joy!" He felt the same pride he expressed. They were smart, talented, and truly a blessing.

Assuming Roxanne had already left for work, the triplets went downstairs for breakfast, joined by Lucian, who chatted with them casually.

"It's almost the weekend," he announced. "Discuss where you'd like to go. Mommy will be free, so we'll all go together!"

The prospect of a family outing thrilled the triplets. They began brainstorming: "Let's go to the zoo… Oh, forget it. The snakes frightened Essie." "How about the amusement park? Too many rides we can't go on." "The oceanarium! It's been a long time. Essie missed the white dolphins last time."

Quickly, they agreed on the oceanarium. Estella exclaimed, "Let's go to the oceanarium, Daddy! I want to see the giant sea turtles, white dolphins, whale sharks, and penguins! They're all so cute!" Lucian nodded.

Suddenly, Archie and Benny scrutinized Lucian's face. Frowning, Lucian asked, "What's wrong? Is there something on my face?"

Archie, concerned, replied, "You've got prominent dark circles, Daddy. You should rest more and not overwork yourself!"

Benny agreed, "Do you not sleep well, Daddy? You should go to bed earlier!"

A strange feeling washed over Lucian. He found their concern intriguing but couldn't reveal the true reason for his sleep deprivation. Even Estella urged, "You must sleep properly to avoid dark circles, Daddy."

Archie offered a solution: "Daddy, soak a towel in hot water, wring it out, and use it as a compress. It helps with dark circles and eyebags."

Benny added, "Or, boil an egg, let it cool slightly, and roll it under your eyes while they're closed. That reduces swelling and bruising!"

Lucian was surprised. He realized they must have learned these remedies from Roxanne. Perhaps one of them would inherit her medical skills.
