Chapter 2065: Anything Is Fine

Soon, James and Elektra arrived to help. James's personality had changed significantly since Yennefer's recovery. No longer dull and serious, he seemed carefree, even a bit foolish. Upon arrival, he playfully punched Jonathan. "We agreed to remain single, but you secretly married! That's not fair!"

Jonathan raised an eyebrow. "If you wanted to marry, you'd have women lining up from the city square to the outskirts, wouldn't you? You said so yourself."

"Really? When did I say something so arrogant? Hahaha..." James laughed, then immediately adopted a concerned demeanor towards Lucian and Roxanne. "Lucian, Roxanne, is there anything I can help with?" He referred to Roxanne's mother's predicament.

Roxanne shook her head. "Even the police haven't made a breakthrough. We can't rush it. Thank you for your concern, James."

Lucian narrowed his eyes, glancing at his wife. "Perhaps James can help. He's studied psychology. He must know hypnosis. If we hypnotize Winnie, maybe she'll talk."

James nodded, confident in his abilities. Roxanne, surprised by this previously unconsidered possibility, felt a surge of excitement.

"The key is getting Winnie to cooperate," Roxanne mused.

Lucian and James exchanged smiles. They acknowledged that sometimes drastic measures were necessary, though they didn't explicitly state it.

Elektra, having finished chatting with Jonathan and Madilyn, approached. "Lucian, Roxanne doesn't look well. Is she overtired?" Turning to Roxanne, she added with concern, "Roxanne, you're pregnant. Don't overwork yourself."

"Thank you," Roxanne replied politely.

Roxanne noticed Elektra's closeness to James, wondering if a romantic connection had developed between them. While surprised, she concluded that it wasn't necessarily a bad thing, as long as Elektra no longer harbored feelings for Lucian.

After some conversation, Elektra produced an eye cream and applied it to Roxanne, explaining its ability to reduce puffiness. Roxanne felt the warming effect and recognized its mechanism.

Smiling, Roxanne instructed James, "Record this. Flora Verba Group will research and develop this eye cream immediately."

James, immediately adopting a serious demeanor, listened attentively to his instructions. Roxanne briefly explained the cream's formulation, confident the research institute could replicate it within a week.

Their conversation shifted to business matters, prompting Madilyn to interrupt and drag Roxanne and Elektra upstairs to view Estella's wedding dress.
