"It doesn't matter," Jessica replied, her voice laced with fury. "You need to know about Mr. Farwell and Roxanne Jarvis."
Aubree's heart sank. The thought of Lucian and Roxanne's relationship being revealed threatened her position as fiancรฉe.
"What are you talking about? I don't understand," Aubree replied cautiously.
"Keep an eye on Roxanne Jarvis," Jessica snapped. "Because of her, Mr. Farwell pushed Hightower Group to the brink in a single day. Considering that, what do you think their relationship is like?"
Aubree's dismay deepened. The Farwell Group's involvement confirmed her suspicions, though the extent of Lucian's actions surprised her.
"Wait," Aubree asked, "Are you Jessica Hightower?"
A cold chuckle preceded Jessica's response. "Surprised you know me, Ms. Pearson. I won't divulge their relationship. But I hope you won't let her off!"
