Chapter 1696

Onitsuka Ryuji laughed arrogantly, gritting his teeth. “You don't even recognize the Bunkyo Runaway Group, boy? You're dead today!”

A girl shrieked, "Sir, go! They're members of the Bunkyo Runaway Group! It's the largest violent organization in Bunkyo; you can't fight them!"

Charlie Wade touched his nose, smiled at Onitsuka Ryuji, and said, “I heard Tokyo has twenty-three districts. Doesn't that mean there are at least twenty-three 'Bunkyo Runaway Groups'?”

Onitsuka Ryuji snarled, “So what? Ours is top five in Tokyo! Can you handle it?”

Charlie Wade scoffed, “You'll find out whether you can provoke it or not.”

Another thug yelled, “Boy, you're too arrogant!”

Onitsuka Ryuji winked at his men and shouted, “Kill him!”

The thugs drew iron rods from their waists, swarmed Charlie Wade, and attacked. They were ordinary gangsters, practically powerless against Charlie Wade. He wasn't fazed by their numbers.

The girl, still held by Onitsuka Ryuji, cried, "Sir, be careful! Run!"

Charlie Wade smiled. “A dignified Chinese man doesn't run.” His eyes turned cold.

Four attackers suddenly saw a blur; Charlie Wade's right leg moved with incredible speed, delivering four kicks in an instant. Before they could react, they were sent flying, landing in a parabolic arc into the roadside greenery. Though Charlie Wade lessened his force to avoid killing them, the four men were severely injured, unable to rise.

Onitsuka Ryuji and the girl stared, dumbfounded. Onitsuka Ryuji was shocked. He hadn't expected such strength; the four men were defeated instantly. He pulled a small dagger, held it to the girl's neck, and threatened, "Don't come near! Or I'll kill her!"

Charlie Wade said coldly, “Let her go, and I won't touch you.”

Onitsuka Ryuji’s eyes lit up with relief. He was about to confirm if Charlie Wade meant it when Charlie Wade continued, “I'll only take your right arm as punishment.”

“What?!” Onitsuka Ryuji was aghast. No beating, no scolding, just his arm?

Charlie Wade continued impassively, “I'm giving you a chance. Resist, and I'll take both arms. Three seconds. Decide.”

Chapter 1697

A deep chill shot through Onitsuka Ryuji. He'd never encountered such cruelty and strength, surpassing even the Bozou clan. Most thugs bluster, but this man simply demanded an arm?

Seeing Onitsuka Ryuji's stubbornness, Charlie Wade lost patience. “I offered to leave you an arm, but you insist. Don't blame me for being impolite.”

Onitsuka Ryuji yelled, “You Chinese should keep a low profile! This is Japan! Tokyo! My brothers will kill you!”

Charlie Wade smiled indifferently, “Your brothers? They're in the bushes.”

Onitsuka Ryuji shouted, “We have five hundred! Each could beat you to a pulp! The Bunkyo Runaway Group will kill you!”

Charlie Wade snorted, “Even the Yakuza wouldn't faze me.”

Onitsuka Ryuji’s legs trembled. This man dared to defy the Yakuza? He pressed the knife harder against the girl’s neck, “Leave, or I'll kill her!”

Charlie Wade's expression darkened, “Hurt her, and I'll bury the entire Bunkyo gang.”

Onitsuka Ryuji was on the verge of collapse. This man was relentless. Charlie Wade quietly removed the metal slider from his jacket zipper.

Without Onitsuka Ryuji noticing, Charlie Wade flicked the slider, embedding it in Onitsuka Ryuji’s right hand. The girl escaped, and Onitsuka Ryuji, in pain, fled into the street.

Chapter 1698

Charlie Wade pursued. The girl cried, "Sir, stop! It's dangerous!"

Charlie Wade said coldly, “I promised to take only one arm. I can't break my word.”

Onitsuka Ryuji, terrified, ran faster. A car swerved, striking him, sending him into the path of a Rolls-Royce convoy. The Rolls-Royce ran over his arms.

A young man, Takahashi Eiki, emerged from the Rolls-Royce, enraged. He kicked Onitsuka Ryuji, “Bastard! Did you know there was a distinguished guest in my car?!”

Onitsuka Ryuji, in agony, whimpered, “Mr. Takahashi, I didn't mean to… I was being chased…”

Takahashi Eiki, heir to the Takahashi family, had just picked up Fitz and Zara from the airport. The incident had startled them.

He glared at Charlie Wade, “Did you chase him into the street?”

Charlie Wade frowned. “Yes. Do you have a problem?”

Takahashi Eiki roared, “Do you know who I am?”

Charlie Wade squinted, “I don't care. I reserved his arms. You broke them; explain yourself.”

Chapter 1699

Takahashi Eiki was furious. He was a prominent figure in Japan. He was enraged by Charlie Wade’s insolence. He summoned his bodyguards.

Fitz and Zara exchanged glances. Fitz said, “No foul play, right?”

Zara shook her head, “No. They wouldn't do this in downtown Tokyo. The airport viaduct would be better.”

Fitz smiled, “Takahashi Eiki’s face must be burning. He just said no one runs red lights, and then…”

Fitz raised an eyebrow. “Takahashi Eiki seems interested in you. Five people. Consider it?”

Zara firmly stated, “Never a Japanese man.”

Fitz asked, “Why? Japanese men are like Chinese men, less body hair, no body odor. Others are…”

Zara curled her lips, “Even if I date, it’ll be a pure Chinese man.”

Fitz, "Why?"

Zara, “Same culture, traditions, habits, understanding. If I say I want to see the Mogao Grottoes, and he says, ‘Where?’ I’d slap him.”

Fitz laughed, “Don’t beat your boyfriend.”

Zara, “I’m making a point. Chinese men and women are the best match. Never pursue foreign love.”

Fitz sighed and looked at Charlie Wade, surrounded by bodyguards, but fearless. “This Japanese guy’s brave.”

Zara nodded, “Maybe his brain isn't so good?”

Fitz smiled, “This Japanese guy’s handsome.”

Zara, “Pray he doesn’t get disfigured by Takahashi Eiki.”

Chapter 1700

Takahashi Eiki wanted to order Charlie Wade’s death but hesitated, considering the public location and the presence of Fitz and Zara.

He said condescendingly, “Boy, you’re lucky. Kneel and apologize, and it’s over!”

Charlie Wade laughed, “You’re confused. You owe me two arms!”

Takahashi Eiki thought, If I beat him, nobody can blame me.

He gritted his teeth, “Fine! Since you want it this way…”

He yelled, “Attack him!”

Suddenly, the Chinese girl rushed forward, “I’m sorry, this gentleman protected me. Please don’t hurt him!” She bowed.

Charlie Wade stopped her. “They aren't worth your bow. Wait here.”

“He’s Eiji Takahashi,” she cried. “He’s powerful! You’ll have trouble!”

Charlie Wade, “I don’t care who he is. He owes me two arms.” He gently pushed her away. “Hide. If I’m distracted, it’s your fault.”

The girl hesitated, then stood aside, dialing emergency services.

Zara, in the car, raised an eyebrow, “Hey, that ‘Japanese guy’ is Chinese!”

Fitz sighed, “A strong dragon doesn’t press a snake. Why fight Takahashi Eiki? This kid’s got guts…”

Zara shook her head, “He looks good, but not so smart…”
