Chapter 1851

The plane departed from Tokyo Airport and arrived on schedule at Osaka Airport an hour later. First-class passengers disembarked first, as is standard procedure. Xion, having no luggage and seated in an aisle seat, immediately stood and proceeded to the exit as soon as the plane stopped. She exited the aircraft as soon as the door opened.

To avoid delays, the Banks Familyโ€™s plane was scheduled to depart in half an hour. Xion needed to proceed to the business jet terminal for another security check before reaching the private jet hangar. Private jet procedures differ from those of commercial airlines; the main terminal serves only commercial flights. Passengers using private or business jets go through security and boarding at the dedicated business jet terminal.

When Charlie Wade emerged from the aircraft, carrying a suitcase, Xion was gone. He smiled, thinking, โ€œSo eager to leave? The more you want to go back, the less I want you to.โ€

He strolled toward the business jet terminal, calling Cameron Isaac: โ€œIsaac, is everything arranged as discussed?โ€

Cameron Isaac replied, smiling, โ€œMaster, don't worry; everything is ready.โ€

Charlie Wade grunted, โ€œKeep me updated. Iโ€™ll be there soon.โ€

โ€œYes, Master!โ€

Upon arriving at the business jet terminal and clearing security, Charlie Wade found Cameron Isaac waiting.

Isaac whispered, โ€œMaster, everyone else is aboard. I saw the woman in black you mentioned on WeChat. After security, she took a shuttle bus to Hangar 12. That's the plane you identified!โ€

He continued, โ€œOur plane is in Hangar 13, next door. Our departure time is scheduled immediately after theirs.โ€

โ€œExcellent!โ€ Charlie Wade chuckled. โ€œLet's go to the hangar and watch the show!โ€

They boarded a VIP shuttle bus to Hangar 13, where their Gulfstream jet awaited. The plane that had brought them to Japan had flown from Tokyo to Osaka, where it remained.

Don Albertt, Liam, and others were waiting, disembarking respectfully before Charlie Wade. They greeted him as โ€œMaster Wadeโ€ and bowed deeply.

Charlie Wade waved, โ€œNo formalities. Board the plane; Iโ€™m anticipating a good show!โ€ He boarded first, followed by the others. The flight attendant closed the door and asked Cameron Isaac, โ€œMr. Wade, may we depart?โ€

After Charlie Wade nodded, Isaac instructed, โ€œDepart now!โ€ The plane was pushed from the hangar. The captain contacted the tower for takeoff clearance. The tower granted clearance, placing them behind a private jet bound for Highland Falls.

Chapter 1852

The captain announced, โ€œMr. Wade, we have takeoff clearance, behind the China Shipping plane in Hangar 12. Many planes are waiting; takeoff is approximately forty minutes away.โ€

Hearing that the Banks Familyโ€™s plane was ahead, Charlie Wade told Cameron Isaac, โ€œLet's go to the cockpit!โ€

They entered the cockpit. Isaac asked the captain, โ€œWhereโ€™s the China Shipping plane?โ€

The captain pointed to a plane taxiing, โ€œThatโ€™s it.โ€

Isaac nodded. As the plane turned toward the runway, he told the captain, โ€œFollow it!โ€

The captain increased engine thrust, and they followed the Banks Familyโ€™s plane. Charlie Wade smiled, watching the plane ahead.

Meanwhile, aboard the Banks Familyโ€™s Airbus A320, over fifty of their top masters sat. A middle-aged man approached Xion, โ€œMiss Xion, this operation was a success. The Matsumoto family is dealt with. No one died, and our extraction is successful. As long as our planes fly together, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police will never find us!โ€

Others agreed, praising Xionโ€™s leadership and anticipating a promotion from Mr. Banks.

Xion replied indifferently, โ€œWe are all employees of the Banks Family. Do your jobs well, and the Patriarch will reward you.โ€ She promised to report their success and request recognition for their efforts. Everyone was pleased, knowing this meant a substantial cash reward.

Xionโ€™s phone vibrated. It was Zayne. She answered respectfully, โ€œPatriarch!โ€

Zayne asked, โ€œXion, how is it? About to take off? No problems?โ€

Xion reported, โ€œMaster, we're in the takeoff queue; departure in at most half an hour.โ€

Zayne chuckled, โ€œExcellent work! Youโ€™ll be rewarded upon your return to Eastcliff!โ€

Xion expressed gratitude. Zayne offered her a long vacation upon her return to her hometown, extending until the Lantern Festival.

As Xion thanked him, numerous helicopters and armored personnel carriers surrounded their plane. A high-powered speaker on a helicopter announced, โ€œThis is the Japanese Self-Defense Force! You are surrounded!โ€

Chapter 1853

The Banks Familyโ€™s masters were shocked. Their escape seemed imminent, with Zayneโ€™s praise fresh in their ears.

The Japanese Self-Defense Force (essentially the Japanese army, rebranded after WWII) had surrounded them with helicopters and armored vehicles. The masters were powerful, but their skills were no match for the militaryโ€™s weaponry. Moreover, the Self-Defense Force deployed specially trained anti-terrorist unitsโ€”at least 600-700 troops.

Xion panicked, โ€œWhat happened?! How did they find us?! Who leaked the information?!โ€

Fear gripped the others. Their actions in Tokyo had enraged the Japanese government. Tokyo and surrounding cities were on high alert. Their capture was inevitable.

Zayneโ€™s call was still active. Hearing the commotion, he asked, โ€œXion, whatโ€™s wrong?!โ€

Xionโ€™s voice trembled, โ€œPatriarchโ€ฆthe Self-Defense Force has surrounded our planeโ€ฆโ€

Zayne felt a crushing blow. The plane held the Banks Familyโ€™s elite, representing 80% of their fighting force, including Xion, a crucial leader. Their capture would be devastating.

Zayne frantically asked, โ€œRuoli, what happened?! Was there a leak? A traitor?โ€

Xion nervously replied, โ€œI donโ€™t knowโ€ฆโ€

The broadcast continued, โ€œThis is the Self-Defense Force. Shut down your engines and open your doors for inspection, or face attack!โ€

The panicked captain and co-pilot immediately shut down the engines. The aircraft was defenseless against the helicoptersโ€™ weaponry.

Chapter 1854

The broadcast repeated its demand. The captain announced to the passengers that they faced an attack if they didnโ€™t open the hatch. Panic ensued. The masters were terrified, pacing anxiously. Xion knew surrendering meant certain death but resisting would likely be worse. Special forces typically use directional explosives to breach entry points, followed by flashbangs and tear gas to disable occupants.

In desperation, Xion asked Zayne, โ€œPatriarchโ€ฆwhat should we doโ€ฆ?โ€

Zayne whispered feebly, devastated by the loss of the Banks Familyโ€™s elite. The consequences for the Family would be immense. Replacing these masters would be costly, not just financially but also in terms of time and resources. The family would also be liable for substantial financial support to the families of those captured.

Chapter 1855

Japanโ€™s Homeland Security chief and the Director of the Tokyo Warning Agency had arrived in Osaka by private jet. They had been under immense pressure to apprehend the Matsumoto family killers. A mysterious tip led them to Osaka, where the killers were to depart by plane for China. This spurred immediate action. The Homeland Security Department commandeered the case, dispatching the Self-Defense Force to prevent the planeโ€™s departure. They even prepared fighter jets as a backup plan.

The Homeland Security chief contacted the commander, who reported the plane was surrounded. The chief ordered, โ€œGive them one more minute. If they donโ€™t surrender, attack!โ€

Boarding vehicles approached, and four combat squads prepared to storm the plane, using explosives, flashbangs, and tear gas. Their weapons were ready.

Xion watched the boarding cars approach, deeply anxious. Those inside debated surrendering. Some argued death was preferable to surrender. Others counter-argued that even a lengthy prison sentence was better than immediate death, citing examples like Shoko Asahara. They felt they could still maintain a position of power in prison.

Convinced by these arguments, they looked to Xion, exclaiming, โ€œMiss Xion, letโ€™s surrender!โ€
