Chapter 1896

Elaine Ma stormed in, furious. She leaped onto Cynthia's stomach, her face contorted as she slapped and cursed, "You think I'm a fool! You dare cheat me!"

Elaine Ma was preoccupied with Jacob Wilson's hospitalization and needed a check to cover Claire Wilson's hospital bill. After Charlie Wade gave her a check, she discovered it was for 100 million! The hospital cashier accused her of fraud and threatened to call the police. She confronted Charlie Wade, only to learn he'd purchased the check from a funeral home, intending to burn it for his deceased parents. Cynthia had now presented an almost identical 100-million-dollar check.

Elaine Ma's rage intensified. Cynthia's repeated mention of Citibank fueled her fury; a previous Citibank scam had resulted in her detention and abuse at the hands of Wendy and Gena. This was a traumatic period in her life. Seeing Cynthia use a fraudulent check and flaunt Citibank only compounded her anger.

Cynthia, dizzy and nauseous from the beating, was screaming in pain but her bodyguard was too far away to hear. Unable to reach her phone, she fought back, grabbing Elaine Ma's hair and pulling.

Elaine Ma, surprised by this counterattack, cried out in pain. The fight escalated, with both women exchanging blows and curses. Cynthia ultimately pulled out a large chunk of Elaine Ma's hair and pushed her to the ground, mounting her and continuing the assault.

A waiter, hearing the commotion, rushed to the boss's office, breathlessly reporting the fight.

Chapter 1897

The beauty salon owner, enraged by the news, rushed to investigate. Before reaching the room, he heard Elaine Ma yelling, "This stinky girl! I can't even handle Gena, let alone you?!"

Cynthia, having the upper hand, retorted, "You wait! You won't see tomorrow's sun!" Elaine Ma slapped Cynthia again.

The owner, upon seeing the bloodied women, quickly retreated and ran to the back, where he found a waiting van. He frantically informed Harold, who had been waiting to abduct Elaine Ma, about the fight. He omitted the fact that Cynthia had been involved in the matter.

Harold and his men burst into the room, seizing Elaine Ma. Elaine Ma recognized Harold and pleaded with him. Harold, however, revealed his motive for revenge, tying her up. Cynthia, initially relieved, attempted to call for help, but Harold stopped her.

Chapter 1898

Harold refused Cynthia's pleas, intending to take both women to a brick factory. Cynthia protested, but was gagged and bundled into the van with Elaine Ma. Harold urged the beauty salon owner to flee, offering a dismissive appraisal of his remaining possessions. The owner, fearing repercussions and considering the money he'd already received, decided to leave with his staff.

Chapter 1899

Cynthiaโ€™s bodyguard, still waiting outside, grew concerned when Cynthia failed to answer her phone. He discovered the salon in disarray and the evidence of a violent struggle, confirming Cynthia's abduction. The bodyguards were horrified at their failure to protect her.

One bodyguard called Cameron Isaac, who was at the hospital visiting an employee injured by Cynthia.

Chapter 1900

Cameron Isaac received the news of Cynthia's kidnapping with shock. He suspected Charlie Wade's involvement, but a call to Charlie confirmed his innocence. Charlie was shocked to learn both Cynthia and Elaine Ma were missing and worried that Cynthia had revealed his identity to Elaine. Cameron Isaac contacted Don Albertt to aid the search.
