Chapter 1907

Donald's violent shout shook Cynthia to her core. The tension in his body caused her to involuntarily urinate. Because she and Elaine Ma were tied back-to-back, the urine pooled between them.

Elaine Ma instantly felt the dampness and smell, and, jolted, struggled, cursing, "You disgusting girl! Why pee your pants now? F*ck me!"

Cynthia completely crumbled. Decades of refined upbringing vanished. She looked at Donald, crying, "Mr. Webb, please don't kill me! I'm Cynthia, the eldest daughter of the Wade family of Eastcliff. Spare me, and I'll give you a fortune! My father, Nathaniel Wade, will too!"

Donald stared, incredulous. "You're the eldest daughter of the Wade family?!"

Cynthia cried, "Yes! I am!"

Donald pressed, "And your father is Nathaniel Wade?"

Cynthia nodded repeatedly, choked with sobs, "Yes! Nathaniel Wade is my father!"

Donald had never heard of Cynthia but knew Nathaniel Wade's name. As head of the Wade family, he was nationally renowned. Cynthia's claim seemed impossible.

He sneered, "You just urinated! Take a look—do you look like you belong to the Wade family?"

Cynthia collapsed, pleading, "Brother, I really am!"

Donald scoffed, "Even if you are, why is a Miss Wade in Aurouss Hill?"

Cynthia choked back tears, "II'm looking for Charlie Wade"

Donald was even more dismissive. "Charlie Wade? A live-in son-in-law, a feng shui practitioner? Don't tell me he's from the Eastcliff Wade family!"

Cynthia cried, "It's true! He's my second uncle's son, my father's grandson"

Elaine Ma, forgetting her soaked clothing, blurted, "What?! Charlie Wade is the grandson of the Eastcliff Wade family?!"

"Yes," Cynthia affirmed. "He lived in Eastcliff as a child. Later, due to circumstances, he went to Aurouss Hill with his parents, who then died. He was sent to the Aurouss Hill Welfare Institute"

"Impossible!" Elaine Ma exclaimed. "If he's a Wade family young master, why was he in an orphanage? My father-in-law found him working construction! You're telling me he's the head of the Eastcliff Wade family? I might as well claim to be the Queen Mother!"

Donald added coldly, "It's illogical. If Charlie Wade had such a background, why would he be living in poverty?"

Christopher shifted uncomfortably. "Mr. Webb, perhaps that's not appropriate"
