Chapter 86

Charlie Wade texted Cameron Isaac: "[Is this Jerome Hunt?] His power here is as everyone says. Why do you ask? Did he annoy you?"

Charlie Wade: "[Yeah. I've already asked Albert to handle this. But I need a favor.]"

Isaac: "[Anything, young master!]"

Charlie Wade: "I need you to bring Jerome's father to the hospital. And an antique expert named Lewis Rhys."

Isaac: "[Yes, young master. I'll have them brought to you immediately!]"

Charlie Wade: "[No need. Just have someone else do it. I don't want people to know we know each other.]"

Isaac: "[Understood, young master. Should they be taught a lesson?]"

Charlie Wade: "[Give them a good beating first, then lock them up and send them to me.]"

Isaac: "[Yes, young master! I'll have someone carry out your orders immediately!]"

Putting his phone away, Charlie Wade addressed Jerome and Lily coldly. "Parents answer for their children's mistakes. I'll have both your fathers brought here. Let's see what they have to say about your behavior!"

Jerome's expression hardened. "Don't cross the line, punk, or you'll end up dead when my men arrive!"

Charlie Wade scoffed. "Hurry up, I'm impatient."

Just as Jerome was about to yell, the ward door burst open, revealing a large man, Zazpi, with seven or eight men. Jerome pointed at Charlie Wade. "Zaz, this brat! Teach him a lesson!"

Zazpi furrowed his brows. "So, you're the one who pissed off my brother?"

Charlie Wade smirked. "So? Are you going to beat me up as he asked?"

Zazpi stared, confused. He'd never seen Charlie Wade and didn't understand why he wasn't afraid. After a pause, he asked cautiously, "Hey punk, where are you from?"

Charlie Wade replied dismissively, "Home."

Jerome added, "Zaz, he's a gigolo. He lives off women!"

Jerome whispered to Zazpi, "He has no connections. Beat him up as much as you like. I'll take responsibility."

Zazpi laughed sarcastically. "A gigolo? Let's see if he can still live off women after I break his penis!"

Without waiting for a reply, Zazpi gestured. "Let's kill this punk!"

Jerome smirked. "Wade, any last words?"

Charlie Wade ignored him, staring at Zazpi. "Kneel, and I might consider sparing your sorry ass."

Zazpi scoffed. "What did you say? Repeat that, and I'll ensure a swift death!"

Suddenly, a loud yell came from outside. "Zaz, Mr. Wade told you to kneel, are you deaf?"

Zazpi was shocked. Don Albert had arrived!

Chapter 87

The voice echoed as Don Albert, followed by Bill and many men, entered. He ordered Bill, "Shut the doors. No one enters!"

Bill nodded. "Understood, Don Albert!"

Zazpi stared at Don Albert, stunned. It was Don Albert Rhodes, the Aurouss Hill underworld overlord! Zazpi was a minor leader; Don Albert was the absolute power. He never expected to meet him over such a small matter!

Jerome, unaware of Don Albert's identity, frowned. "Zaz, what's going on? Who is this old man?"

Terror-stricken, Zazpi grabbed Jerome by the hair, smashing his face to the ground, breaking his nose. He yelled, "If you want to die, don't drag me into it! This is Don Albert!"

Jerome was shocked. Don Albert! The Aurouss Hill underworld overlord! Why was he here?

Don Albert approached, kicking Zazpi in the groin. He said coldly, "You dared to annoy Mr. Wade?"

He bowed to Charlie Wade, apologizing. "Sorry I'm late, Mr. Wade. Punish me!"

Everyone's jaws dropped at Don Albert's respectful attitude. Jerome realized he'd angered a major figure, and his body trembled.

Charlie Wade nodded toward Zazpi. "You know this guy?"

Don Albert replied, "Yes. A minor leader, but he angered Mr. Wade. Just order his punishment, Mr. Wade. We'll do as you say!"

Charlie Wade said, "Break his kneecaps so he'll need a wheelchair."

Zazpi's spirit fled. He was a man who lived by violence. He crawled to Charlie Wade, crying, "Mr. Wade, it's my fault! Please give me another chance!"

Charlie Wade stared coldly. "I gave you a chance. You didn't take it."

Zazpi remembered Charlie Wade's earlier words, "Kneel, and I might consider sparing your sorry ass" He'd thought it was a bluff. Now, he realized he was the one who wanted to die. He begged, "Mr. Wade, please, another chance!"

Charlie Wade ignored him and turned to Don Albert. "What are you waiting for?"

Don Albert immediately ordered, "Break his kneecaps!"

Chapter 88

Bill took a steel pole and approached Zazpi. Despite Zazpi's pleas, Bill swung, shattering his kneecap. Zazpi screamed, but Charlie Wade wasn't finished. Bill broke his other kneecap. Zazpi rolled on the floor, screaming.

Don Albert barked, "Bill, stuff something in his mouth. His whining is annoying Mr. Wade!"

Bill stuffed gauze in Zazpi's mouth. Jerome and Lily knelt, begging for mercy.

Charlie Wade sneered. "Think begging will help? You're cute."

Two men in black entered, dragging two bound middle-aged men—Jerome and Lily's fathers, Dylan and Lawson.

The men threw them down. "Mr. Wade, we brought them."

Jerome and Lily nearly fainted.

Charlie Wade threw a bucket of water over them. He questioned Lawson. "Mr. Lewis, did you know your daughter was a whore and cheating?"

Terrified, Lawson shook his head. "I didn't know…"

Charlie Wade said, "You didn't know? That's your fault as a father. Bill, break his kneecap!"

Lawson cried, "No! Help me!"

Lily screamed, "Dad!"

Bill shattered Lawson's kneecap. Charlie Wade repeated his question.

Lawson sobbed, "I knew! It's my fault! I'll discipline her!"

Charlie Wade scoffed. "You knew, and did nothing."

He ordered Bill, "Cripple his other leg!"

Chapter 89

Lawson collapsed, but the pain woke him. "Ah!" Tears streamed down his face. "Mr. Wade, it's my fault! I won't overlook her faults!"

Charlie Wade said, "Aren't you good at blaming others?"

This sent chills down Lawson's spine. Charlie Wade demanded, "Lawson Lewis! About the ten thousand dollars my brother invested in your restaurant, why did you refuse to repay it? Why did you claim it was a gift?"

Lawson's face drained of color. "I was wrong! I was greedy and immoral! I'm sorry!" He begged, "Douglas, I was blinded by greed. I'll repay the ten thousand, please tell Mr. Wade to let me go!"

Charlie Wade stared at Douglas. "Will you help him?"

Douglas shook his head. "No!"

Charlie Wade nodded. "That's my man!"

He turned to Lawson. "You're a terrible father, and you tried to steal my brother's savings. What's the difference between you and a thief?"

Lawson cried, "Mr. Wade, I'm a bastard! Please let me go!"

Charlie Wade laughed coldly. "Let you go? In your dreams!" He ordered Bill, "Cripple his arm!"

Chapter 90

Bill shattered Lawson's arm. "Ah, my arm!" Charlie Wade ordered, "Lock him up and throw him away!" Lily was on the verge of collapse, as was Jerome.

Charlie Wade turned to Jerome angrily. "Who told you to mess with someone else's woman?" He smirked. "Didn't you know your daughter was sleeping with my brother's fiancé?"

Terrified, Dylan was paralyzed. Lawson was a prime example of his fate.

After a long pause, Charlie Wade told Bill, "Smash both his legs!"

Two screams followed as Dylan was crippled. Jerome had wet his pants.

Charlie Wade laughed. "It seems you can't control yourself! The source of all this trouble! You won't need it anymore!"

He ordered, "Destroy what makes him a man."

Bill hesitated, but Don Albert snapped, "What are you doing? Do as Mr. Wade says!"

Bill ordered his men, "Spread his legs!"

Jerome pleaded, "Mr. Wade, please spare me! Maim me, but don't…."

Charlie Wade chuckled. "Think this is a multiple-choice question? You can't escape both fates!"

Bill castrated Jerome. He also crippled all his limbs.

Jerome, once an arrogant jerk, was now a useless piece of garbage. Only Lily remained.

On the verge of a breakdown, Lily crawled to Douglas, crying, "Spouse, I'm sorry! I shouldn't have cheated! I loved you! Hunt raped me! He took photos!"

Jerome yelled, "Lily, you whore! How dare you blame me! You came to my pawnshop with your father! You approached me because of my wealth and slept with me willingly! They're still on my phone!"

Lily's face turned pale. "Hunt, you bastard! Didn't you promise to delete them?"

Jerome gritted his teeth. "You evil bitch! Thank God I kept them!"

Lily tried to explain. "Spouse, I was a fool! Spare me!"

Charlie Wade asked Douglas, "What do you think?"

Douglas pushed Lily away. "I don't know this woman."

Lily broke down. Charlie Wade ordered, "Break both her legs and scar her face. Let's see if she can attract men now."

Bill crippled Lily, scarred her face, and cut her hair. The five had paid the price.
