Chapter 350

Aaron and the others were leaving anyway, so they weren't worried about Cain finding them.

โ€œSienna paid us $2 million to get Phoebeโ€™s blood and hair. Isnโ€™t that way more generous than you?โ€ he sneered at Cain. โ€œA grown man, a rich heit, and still so stingy. Seriously, I canโ€™t believe you.โ€

Cain was speechless. Unable to speak, he asked, โ€œSo, did you give it to her?โ€

Aaron grinned. โ€œDah. Otherwise, Sienna wouldnโ€™t have given us $2 million.โ€ โ€œYou should learn a thing or two from your sister.โ€ With that, he and the other two walked away.

Once outside the building, the three didn't stop. They immediately hired a car and headed toward the border city.

After they left, Cain thought for a moment and had his nurse dial Phoebeโ€™s number.

Phoebe saw Cainโ€™s call and guessed what he wanted. She didnโ€™t answer.

Cain then sent her a message asking if someone had taken her blood and hair.

โ€œDonโ€™t worry about it,โ€ Phoebe replied.

Cam had no choice but to remind Phoebe that Sienna would harm her. He warned her to be cautious.

Phoebe replied with a simple, โ€œGot it,โ€ and ended the conversation.

Despite Cainโ€™s warning, Phoebe wasnโ€™t moved. But from this, she knew that Siennaโ€™s blood and hair had already been taken.

Phoebe then hacked into Aaronโ€™s phone. Not only did she trace the foreign accounts where the money was being transferred, but she also found the videos. Phoebe forwarded them to her email.

She hacked into Aaronโ€™s foreign account. Using his identity, she transferred the money to several legitimate charity foundations. She had checked them out beforehand, and these foundations were truly doing good work with no issues of embezzlement or abuse.

The foreign account Aaron used was an anonymous one, specifically for money laundering, so once the money was moved, it couldnโ€™t be traced. Theyโ€™d be forced to take the loss.

As for the purpose of the videos, Phoebe could guess. Once the money was gone, the three would likely target Sienna. Phoebe was waiting to see how Sienna would handle it when she was broke and threatened. Such videos would never be something Sienna wanted out in the open. She would have to come up with money to pay them off or figure out a way to get rid of them. It was going to be another case of dogs fighting dogs.

The next morning, the sunlight poured in, and Sienna slowly woke up. Then she remembered what had happened the night before, and her face changed. She quickly sat up, only to find that the three had already left. Because they had used needles to take her blood, and she had been preoccupied with other things, she hadnโ€™t noticed.

Her expression was laced with anger as she thought about how much she hated them. She took a shower, dressed, and went to the Horoscope Association. She still wasnโ€™t free, and she had no money left. Once she returned to the capital, sheโ€™d spend to have those three dealt with and get her money back. They wouldnโ€™t be able to spend it all so quickly. Still, it was a bitter pill to swallow. At least Phoebeโ€™s blood and hair had been obtained.

She sent a message to Ophelia, telling her to come to Oriar to pick it up. Ophelia was being watched by Reece at the hotel, so she couldnโ€™t go. She sent her assistant to get the items at Oriar and wait in the city. When the witch arrived, they would give the items directly to her.

Ophelia didnโ€™t leave Galuwa; she stayed behind, wanting to watch Phoebeโ€™s misfortune unfold.

At noon, a plump, middle-aged man entered Oriar. He checked into the inn where Opheliaโ€™s assistant had arranged for him to stay. After receiving the blood and hair, he didnโ€™t waste time and began his rituals.

Meanwhile, Phoebe followed the address Raylan had given her and went to find him. Raylan lived in one of the courtyards at the Horoscope Associationโ€™s headquarters.

When Phoebe arrived, he wasnโ€™t surprised. โ€œCome on in.โ€ They sat together in the courtyard. Raylan poured Phoebe a cup of coffee and asked, โ€œDid you come to see me for something?โ€

Phoebe smiled. โ€œIโ€™m heading back to Solara City tomorrow. Want to come along and have some fun?โ€

Raylan raised an eyebrow. โ€œDo you think I can just go to Solara City?โ€

Phoebe thought to herself, Just as I suspected. She looked at him and asked, โ€œYou canโ€™t leave Galuwa!โ€

Percival had said that Oriar was a cage, and Phoebe couldnโ€™t help but think of Raylan when she heard that. Drawing a line in the sand, his connection to Oriar was so deep that he couldnโ€™t leave.

Raylan knew she had figured it out. โ€œExactly. I canโ€™t leave.โ€ He glanced at her neck and added, โ€œWhether I can leave depends on you.โ€

Phoebe was stunned. โ€œOn me?โ€

Then she realized, โ€œSo this is why you came to meet me?โ€

Raylan smiled. โ€œYouโ€™re sharp.โ€ He had just admitted it.

Phoebe chuckled. โ€œDid someone mislead you? Your abilities are above mine, yet you canโ€™t break free. What am I supposed to do about it?โ€

She never felt any ill will from Raylan. But she was now certain that he knew the people behind Sienna. She had never understood why he reached out to her but didnโ€™t help Sienna. Now, it all clicked.

Kaylan, however, looked at her with a smile, his tone confident. โ€œDonโ€™t underestimate yourself. You can do it!โ€
