Harvey looked at the bags of clothes; his eyes brimmed with tears. His classmates had mentioned the mall's expensive clothes, even teasing him about his old-fashioned, worn-out garments. From behind, Maisy's sharp voice cut through the air: "Skylar? Are you cheating on your sugar daddy to support your boy toy?"

Skylar and Harvey turned. Maisy had already taken several pictures. "You're so shameless! Is he even of legal age? You're so miserable you're preying on minors?" Her delight was obvious; she'd caught Skylar red-handed.

"What nonsense, Maisy? You're asking for trouble! Haven't you bullied Skylar enough?" Harvey said, dropping the clothes. Before Maisy could react, he launched a flying kick.

"Ahh!" Maisy screamed in pain. Skylar didn't stop him, nor did she intend to. "You get what you deserve."

"Don't kick me, you asshole! I remember now—you're Harvey! Have you gone mad? I'm your real sister! She has nothing to do with you!" Maisy raged.

"Instead of hitting her, you hit me? Have you lost your mind?"

"Real sister, my foot! You don't even acknowledge us! Did you think we hadn't noticed you looking down on us? Yet you claim to be my sister? Have you no shame?" Harvey slapped her. He never dared hit women—Steven and Charles had taught him otherwise—but Maisy had bullied Skylar in front of him.

Maisy was furious. "I'm calling the police! Aren't you taking college entrance exams? Let's see how you'll do with a police record!"

Harvey's face changed. Even impulsive youth can't hide their shock when faced with despicable tactics for the first time.

"Call the police," Skylar calmly replied. "I'll call reporters to investigate your true identity." She took out her phone.

"Skylar!" Maisy shrieked, her face paling. Skylar smirked, but her eyes were fixed on someone else. "Ms. Annie?"

Ms. Annie was a local celebrity in Jipsburg, instantly recognized by Maisy.
