Pushing through the crowd, Skylar arrived before Christopher.

Steven felt worried seeing Skylar. Why was she here? Looking at the ex-classmates surrounding them, he knew Christopher had instructed them to inform her. Witnessing Christopher's shamelessness confirmed his belief that Skylar had been deceived for years.

At the mention of "Skye," a flicker of anticipation crossed Christopher's eyes. Finally, she had come!

He turned around immediately. "Skye, you finally came. I've been waiting for you. I know you don't really want to break up with me, right?"

Christopher vividly portrayed the expression of a loyal, loving man. Skylar understood why he had deceived her so convincingly in her previous life: he was a skilled actor.

"They all say you're a mistress. That person can give you immense wealth, but not love or marriage!"

He avoided mentioning Joe's name, knowing the consequences would be unbearable. He doubted Joe would marry Skylar, believing her background wouldn't meet his standards.

"Skylar is a kept woman?"

"Why is Christopher trying to win her back?"

She then mocked Christopher. "You booked a hotel room with Maisy and went shopping with her. Are you deceiving yourself or me?

"Now that you've wrongly accused me of being a mistress, do you feel better? You're despicable and shameless. If you dare to spread rumors again, I'll take you to the police station and sue you into bankruptcy. Do you want that?

"Steven, record a video. Record the faces of everyone spreading rumors. For every accusation, I'll file a lawsuit and make them pay. I'll give them a taste of being defendants and losing money."

Steven didn't take out his phone but pointed to a nearby camera. "Everything's been recorded by the ultra-high-definition camera. We can hear everything they said clearly." Skylar had toughened up, but it saddened Steven to see it.
