Listen to this chapter:

We had lots of fun, but I got tanned! Skylar, however, didn't notice it until after landing in Korel City. She went to the airport restroom and only then realized she had a tan. She hadn't deliberately applied sunscreen.

"You're not tanned, Skylar," said Gloria. "You're fair to begin with, so you still look fairer than others even with a tan."

Gloria was happy to be with Skylar. She had visited an old friend's house in the past few days and seen several of their granddaughters-in-law. None, she felt, could compare to Skylar's beauty.

"Joe, don't you think so?" Gloria asked, her grandson having been silent for a long time.

Joe was capable, but his unpleasant temper was a flaw. His sullen demeanor could scare Skylar away, a prospect Gloria would not tolerate.

Joe's dark eyes glanced at Skylar's fair, delicate skin. Then, he agreed, saying, "You're right, Grandma."

Skylar didn't mind her tan. The trip to the coastal city and the resulting tan proved she'd had a wonderful time.

"I bought you some local specialties, Grandma. I'll go get them," Skylar said, remembering her purchases. It was her first vacation, and she felt the specialties were the best way to express her feelings.

Gloria was touched. "Skylar, you're such a good child. You still think of me while traveling." She had seen many regional specialties, but Skylar's thoughtful gesture meant the most.

With that thought, she glared at her grandson. "How many places have you been to, and when have you ever brought me specialties? You should learn from Skylar!"

Joe, once again inexplicably disliked, twitched his lips. He hadn't thought Gloria would want anything; wouldn't she be tired of local specialties? She didn't care for foreign ones either.

He looked at Skylar again. She had taught him a lesson: often, sincerity mattered more than the gift itself.

After dinner with Gloria, they went to bed at Pearlhall Residence. The next day, they returned to Galaxy Villa. Joe went to work after changing clothes. Meanwhile, Skylar drove her data to see Janine.

"Why did you buy so much?" Janine said. "It must have been too heavy to carry." Seeing the specialties, her first thought was their weight.

Skylar smiled. "I brought a large box and traveled by car. I even hauled it at the airport; it wasn't heavy, Mom."

Harvey had classes, Steven was busy with work and hadn't been home, and Charles was filming, almost living with the crew. Janine was alone at home.

"Mom, my house will be ready in three months. Once it's renovated, you can stop renting this place," Skylar suggested.

Several errors were corrected: misspellings ("aport" corrected to "airport", "rehting" to "renting"), punctuation, sentence structure, and unclear phrasing. The narrative flow was also improved. A couple of unclear phrases (like "drove her data") remain as their intended meaning isn't readily apparent. More context is needed to improve those sections.
