Skylar paused a few steps outside, turning to glare at Amelia with undisguised disgust. Her silence was profoundly intimidating, leaving Amelia deeply shocked.

It took Amelia some time to recover after Skylar's departure. Snapping out of her daze, she furiously banged her thighs. “How could I let her intimidate me and simply walk away? It infuriates me! How could that manipulative woman seduce my son? What kind of world is this?”

She was convinced Skylar would one day receive her comeuppance, begging to return to Christopher in desperation.

At that moment, a cool voice spoke from behind her. “Your son is insignificant compared to Skylar. He's not worthy of carrying her shoes. If you dare cause another scene at our company entrance, I have many ways to make things difficult for you and your son. Do you understand?”

Startled, Amelia turned to see a young man. Dismissing him with disdain, she spat, “Are you also involved with Skylar? Are you so blinded by her that you defend her? Do you have any idea how she’s deceived you?”

These men, she thought, were increasingly clueless. Beyond her looks, Skylar possessed nothing of value; they were all too foolish to see it.

Caleb's expression hardened as he looked down at Amelia with cold, impassive eyes. “Are you still trying to slander Skylar?”

He then made a phone call, simply stating, “I'm at the south plaza. Send some people here.”

Amelia scoffed. “Is that your childish attempt to scare me? I've seen and dealt with far worse. How could I survive in society if I couldn’t see through such petty schemes?”

Ignoring her, Caleb continued, “Don't say I didn't warn you—stay away from Skylar, or you'll regret it. Being fooled by a manipulative woman at your age will make it difficult to find a wife.”

Amelia dismissed him completely. Such young men, she thought, believed defending Skylar made them heroes; it was childish. She was furious that Christopher remained infatuated with Skylar, wondering what such a manipulative woman offered him. And Skylar hadn’t shown even a hint of respect to her elder.

It seemed "like mother, like son" held true. Caleb was almost amused by Amelia's ignorance.

Soon, several security guards arrived.

Amelia was surprised. “You…”

Caleb addressed the guards coldly. “If she appears at our company again, remove her immediately. If she causes trouble, call the police. Also, find a lawyer; I intend to sue her into bankruptcy.”

Amelia's expression shifted. She realized the young man was no ordinary person.

“I came to find Skylar, not to cause trouble. From now on, I won't bother coming here. Do you think I'd return to a place like this? If you keep protecting Skylar, you'll face retribution. She's nothing but a tramp!” Amelia shouted.

Caleb's expression darkened, and he kicked at Amelia. A nearby security guard intervened, restraining Caleb. "Kicking someone like her will only cause more trouble. If she dares return, we'll make her regret it," the guard stated.

Caleb’s gaze remained fierce, making it clear that any further insults toward Skylar would result in immediate action. Amelia knew his impulsiveness and that he wouldn’t hesitate to harm her.
