Chapter 510: Being Cheated On
Nathaniel still grimaced. No man would be indifferent to his wife's infidelity; what was done was done, barring time travel. At that moment, he only wanted Cecilia by his side. He could even accept her two children. As for Calvin, he wished the man would remain overseas until his death.
Cecilia, unaware of Nathaniel's turmoil, attributed his acceptance of Elliot and Jonathan to his amnesia.
Elliot, having not slept, heard the commotion downstairs. He found Elena overly aggressive, but enjoyed hearing Nathaniel scolded for his foolishness. Pretending to awaken, he rubbed his eyes and called, "Mommy."
Cecilia looked up. "Why are you awake?"
"I heard someone talking," Elliot said, descending the stairs.
"Sorry for disturbing you," Cecilia apologized.
"It's fine," Elliot replied, settling onto the couch. "Mommy, can we sleep here tonight?"
"Why?"
"I'm a bit carsick, and my head is still dizzy. It'll probably be better tomorrow," he explained.
"All right then. We'll stay here tonight and return tomorrow."
Elliot nodded. "Thanks, Mommy." Then, to Nathaniel, he said, "Kiss."
Cecilia, initially in a foul mood from Elena's visit, felt her spirits lift with Elliot's lively presence. After speaking with Cecilia, Elliot went upstairs to the nursery. The Rainsworth family was affluent and influential; even before Nathaniel's marriage, renovations on his side of the house were complete. Cecilia gazed towards the nursery, sensing Elliot's enjoyment of the space.

Chapter 510: Being Cheated On
Nathaniel approached Cecilia. "I have to step out for a bit, Ceci. If you need anything, call me."
"All right. Go ahead."
Before leaving, Nathaniel instructed the housekeeper to contact him immediately if Elena returned.
At the building entrance, Zachary waited by a Maybach. As Nathaniel approached, Zachary said, "Nathaniel."
"What's the matter?" Nathaniel asked.
"Can't I visit you for no reason?"
Zachary opened the car door. "Nathaniel, I heard you have a son now."
Nathaniel remained silent. News traveled quickly. His sharp eyebrows arched slightly. "Don't you have a son too?" he asked, referring to Jonathan.
Zachary seemed aggrieved. Sighing as he directed the driver, he said, "Stop with the sarcasm. That cheeky brat is nothing like me. He's too...smart."
Nathaniel found this amusing. He knew Jonathan didn't resemble him, yet Zachary falsely claimed him as his son. Seeing Nathaniel's faint smile, Zachary asked, "Tell me about your son. Who's the mother?"
The rumors lacked detail. Nathaniel casually replied, "Cecilia."
"What? The baby's already born? It's only been three months, right? How's that possible?" Zachary's eyes widened.
If Nathaniel could see, he would have rolled his eyes. How could someone so foolish survive this long?
"Wait, that's not right. Given current medical technology, a baby can't be born in three months unless it's grown in a petri dishโฆ" Zachary continued.
"Cecilia gave birth to him years ago. He's already four or so," Nathaniel said.
Zachary, surprised, exclaimed, "What a coincidence. My son is also a little over four years old."
Nathaniel didn't reply directly. Of course. They're twins, even.
