Chapter 257

A young lady had just arrived at school. Mr. Harris, a man of agreeable temperament, was one of the few intellectuals who admired Tom Hart. In the previous rape case, Vice Principal Baker had only acted swiftly to protect the school's reputation. Tom's public protest on National People's Congress Day had greatly pleased Harris. University A had been in decline for years, its academic atmosphere deteriorating. It ranked at the bottom of the Royal Medical College's list. Mr. Harris and Vice Principal Baker, former classmates, now engaged in strained interactions, with Baker consistently acting superior, seemingly intent on belittling Harris. The stress had left Harris, a man in his forties, nearly bald.

Tom smiled warmly. "Mr. Harris, your keen judgment is renowned. If you accept my daughter, Olive, I guarantee your future satisfaction."

"Master Hart, I hold you in high regard, and I'm certainly impressed by your daughter. However, the school has regulations. I require her academic records."

Three months prior, Alpha had erased Olive's memories of Los Angeles. The power of wealth was undeniable. Thirteen-year-old Olive had been sent to Bright Star University, a top medical school that had rejected them all. This unprecedented achievement redefined Bright Star's history and set a new standard in the medical field. However, Olive, a double doctor at fifteen, had been selected for a classified research project; all her academic credentials were consequently sealed as confidential and unavailable. Vice Principal Baker hadn't yet been promoted when Olive attended Bright Star; he was then the Dean of Science, and she had no recollection of him. The gap between gifted students and average students at Bright Star was significant. Five years later, even if Baker had made an impression, Olive wouldn't remember. The Academy of Sciences recruited annually from these medical universities. She didn't want her family caught between her and Bright Star. Since Bright Star was unattainable, University A was an acceptable alternative. Olive hoped to retrieve her mother's second treasure box upon her arrival at Imperial.

"Mr. Harris, I cannot disclose my past academic results, but I have a letter of introduction from Director Sebastian of the Ivory Council of Los Angeles." Olive presented the letter. Principal Harris and Director Sebastian Robert moved in the same circles; they were acquaintances. He opened the letter, examined it, and exclaimed, "I know Director Sebastian well."

Olive's expression brightened. "Principal Harris, please accept me provisionally. An entrance exam is upcoming; you can assess my performance then. I believe that investing in me will prove highly rewarding."

Mr. Harris observed the light in the girl's eyes. Her calm confidence was reassuring. His spirits lifted; he sensed this girl would transform this institution. He had found a treasure.

"Very well, I accept you."

Olive chose domestic medicine. The school bell rang. Medical Class 2 was known for its lack of serious study habits. Principal Harris entered, banging the table to demand silence. The students, showing minimal respect, quieted down but promptly fell asleep. Harris felt his remaining hair thinning under the pressure. He swallowed his frustration. "We have a new classmate, Olive Hart. Please welcome her."

Olive entered. "Wake up! Our new classmate is beautiful!" "Crystal Robert, Bright Star's beauty queen, is the most beautiful. Could this girl be better?" "I'm sleeping. I'll see Crystal at Gate Bright Star after school." "Quiet. She's prettier than Crystal!" "This girl is prettier than Crystal, the beauty queen!"

The slumbering students raised their heads, observing Olive beside Principal Harris. She wore Watson University's uniform: a white shirt with a navy blue collar and a navy blue pleated skirt, knee-length, showcasing her slender legs. White shoes completed the look. Her flawless figure and skin were captivating. Her black hair was in a low ponytail, several strands framing her neck. Though veiled, her clear eyes shone. Reincarnation had refined her beauty considerably.

"Wow." The class erupted. All eyes were fixed on Olive.

The veil only enhanced her allure. Olive stood politely. "Hello, I'm Olive. I hope we can be friends."

The normally boisterous class was silent, astonishing Harris. This beauty had indeed worked its magic. He was surprised the Hart family had produced such a beautiful daughter. Crystal was about to be surpassed. He chuckled. "Olive, sit beside Alicia."

"Okay." Olive sat beside a girl named Alicia, who, seeing the "little fairy," eagerly helped her with her chair. Olive smiled gratefully. Alicia's heart fluttered.

Olive’s arrival at Imperial and a phone call during Crystal’s birthday party had already made her famous. News of her bypassing Bright Star University spread quickly, reaching Noah White's ears.
