Chapter 483: Your Love Is Nothing More Than a Lie!

Logan stared at Peterson and Ray, then his gaze settled on Elvis’s handsome face. “Elvis, what’s your relationship with the Red Mafia? Are you the leader?” The Red Mafia was one of the three most powerful crime organizations in the world. In recent years, it had expanded rapidly, its influence spreading across America. The leader was shrouded in mystery; no one had ever seen his face. Could Elvis be the head of the Red Mafia? It was a group to be feared and respected.

Olive was pulled to Elvis’s side, losing her balance and falling into his arms. He caught her, his strong arms securely around her waist. Olive looked up at him. She had heard of the Red Mafia; it was the most powerful of its kind. She wondered if Elvis was indeed its leader. Ray and Peterson hadn't been with Elvis in Los Angeles. His true identity was not only a top businessman, but the head of the Red Mafia. Why hadn't he been caught in the formation? What other secrets did he hide?

Elvis didn't answer Logan immediately. His eyes flickered to Logan before he said, “Logan, I should have told you long ago—stay away from Elvis’s woman.” He glanced at Damien and Alpha. “I’ll leave him to you two. I’m taking Olive home.”

He wrapped his arms around Olive's waist, but she remained still, refusing to go. Elvis stopped, frowning slightly. “Olive, you’ve just had a miscarriage and are still recovering. You need rest. It’s windy; come back inside.”

Olive replied, “Elvis, you know I fell down the stairs myself. I didn’t want this child!”

The topic was difficult for Elvis. His expression remained unchanged, but a cold severity clouded his eyes. “Olive, it was Crystal who pushed you. Don’t repeat this nonsense.” Olive knew he was worried, deceiving himself. He dared not ask why she'd done it.

“Enough, Elvis! Accept reality. I knew I was pregnant, but I kept it a secret because I wanted to use the child to leave you!”

Elvis's fingers tightened on her wrist. His narrowed eyes fixed on her face. “Olive, I know your body wasn’t strong enough. I would have agreed to an abortion, but we loved the child deeply, didn’t we? Now that he’s gone, don't you feel any love for him? I can pretend nothing happened. But can we be like before? Or will you continue to betray me? I’ve forgiven you, but this was my first child. His loss saddens me.” He loved her more than the child; she was more important. Now, his heart was breaking. Her indifference hurt more than the loss itself. The child had been a tool for her escape.

“Elvis, we can’t go back. From the moment you and Crystal slept together, our future ended,” Olive replied coldly.

“Did Crystal say something? Do you think I slept with her?”

“Didn’t you? The sex tape Crystal sent is still on my phone. I’ve watched it repeatedly. Elvis, I don’t need you to save me. Sleeping with Crystal only makes me hate you more. You’re dirty and disgusting. I don’t want you.”

Elvis almost laughed. A sarcastic curve touched his lips. “Olive, you’d rather watch that tape than ask me directly? Did you ever trust me? We’ve been together so long, and you end up thinking I'm dirty and disgusting, and you don't want me anymore?”

Olive's heart ached. Her words had pushed him to the brink; their future was gone. She tried to pull away. “Elvis, let's break up with dignity.”

Elvis held her wrist firmly, his voice low and strained. “If you apologize now, I can forgive you and take you back.”

“But, Elvis, I don’t want to be with you anymore! I can say it a hundred times if I have to: I don't want you anymore!” Olive shouted.

Elvis's Adam's apple bobbed, his eyes darkening. “Olive, you’re cruel. You want to abandon me? Is this the love you promised?” He stared at her, exhausted. “Olive, your love is nothing but a lie.”

Olive felt breathless. She knew his insecurity, his fear of abandonment. She’d struck a raw nerve, reminding him of his past pain. Damien and Alpha watched silently.

“Olive, return home. You can’t leave Imperial City,” Damien finally said.

Olive concealed her emotions, then looked up and said loudly, “Derrick Domino, you’ve seen enough. It’s time to show yourself!”

Derrick Domino? The name caused everyone’s eyes to widen.
