Lemira watched him leave, touching her face, feeling like everything had happened too suddenly. Was she dreaming, or was she still not fully awake?

Outside the hospital room, Orion walked out with a stern face, glancing at the three people in front of him. “TG Group, right?”

The leading woman quickly nodded respectfully. “Mr. Everhart, I’m the manager, just now…”

“You now have two choices,” Orion said, his expression and gaze cold and distant. “First option: resign and leave Orvin.”

All three spoke in unison, “We choose the second option.”

Orion glanced back at the girl in the hospital room, who was sitting on the bed, scrolling through her phone. “Then, from today on, you’re her PR team and personal assistants, in charge of handling all her affairs, big or small.”

The leading woman was stunned. Was this a promotion? They had heard rumors about Orion having a girl he liked who was involved in a car accident with him, but all news was suppressed. Was this the girl? Considering the circumstances, she might very well be the future young Mrs. Everhart. Was this a blessing in disguise?

After dealing with the three individuals, Orion immediately called Thaddeus. “I remember your aunt is married to a media mogul. I need to ask her for a favor.”

“I know what you’re going to say, and I’ve already spoken to my aunt. This time, we’ll make sure Caspian is finished. But why bother? Dealing with someone like Caspian should be easy, right?”

“But that’s not what Lemira wants.”

Orion had numerous ways to ensure Caspian could never recover, but that wasn’t the outcome Lemira desired. Everything Lemira had been given since childhood wasn’t what she wanted. He didn’t want to continue that pattern; he wanted her to live life on her own terms, without excessive interference.

Thaddeus sighed. “Fine, stop showing off your relationship. That Caspian kid was just airlifted away by his agent. But with all this delay, he’s got enough on his plate.”

Thaddeus looked up at the night sky, knowing there was much to do. Caspian was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment, causing chaos outside as the media swarmed, eager to uncover the story behind the incident. Lucian, despite being ill, made his way to the hospital, just in time to see Caspian wheeled out, his face visibly scarred.

“How did it get so bad?” Lucian asked anxiously.

Evelina, tearfully, replied, “I don’t know. By the time I got here, it was already like this.”

Evelina was genuinely crying because if Caspian was disfigured, his future career would be over. Nowadays, who didn’t rely on their looks for work? If his career was over, what would she do?

Lucian, growing impatient, said, “Stop crying. What exactly happened during the live stream? I don’t believe you know nothing about it.”

Lucian didn’t trust Evelina’s words, especially when Lemira was involved.

Evelina stuttered, “I really don’t know. Caspian and Lemira always had conflicts. He wanted to convince Lemira to drop the charges, to keep our family together. Probably, Lemira refused, leading to the conflict.”

Lucian pressed on, “You’re still not telling the truth. Caspian wouldn’t lash out without reason.”

Spotting Asher’s return, Evelina fell to the ground. “Lucian, I really don’t know.”

Asher rushed in to help Evelina up. “Lucian, why are you interrogating Eve? She’s not the one who attacked, it was Lemira!”

“Asher, you can’t be so biased.”

“I’m being fair. Lemira, she even livestreamed it, trying to ruin Caspian. Let her come here herself!”

Asher believed the whole situation was Lemira’s fault. “Alaric was already ruined, I can’t let Caspian be destroyed by Lemira too!”
