Chapter 94

Thaddeus felt sharp, fighting the good fight for Sweet Lemon. Orion, however, ignored Thaddeus' antics. Turning to Lemira, he said, "Let's discuss the partnership after I return."

"Sure," Lemira replied, equally unhurried.

After Orion and Thaddeus left, Lemira examined PixelStage's contract. The offer was tempting, but required extensive daily streaming and promotional activities. She needed the money, but streaming wasn't her ultimate goal. She dreamed of joining the national team as a professional gamer.

Unsure, Lemira logged in to upgrade her character's gear, badly needing repair after last night's battle. She was immediately bombarded with hundreds of friend requestsโ€”from Shadow Legion bosses and fans alike. Lemira ignored them, disabling the friend request option.

She then read Alaric's message: "Ms. Lemon, I saw your stream last nightโ€”you're amazing! But PixelStage is a bad move. With VibeCast and Gameverse, you could break into showbiz!"

Lemira smirked coldly, replying, "No thanks." She focused on her gear, ignoring Alaric's further messages.

She checked the preliminary round list. Ten had advanced yesterday; tonight, she faced them. Only the winner would qualify for the top 100 and advance to one-on-one matches. She noticed familiar names, mostly from Shadow Legion, but not "Time Rewind." In her past life, she'd met him during this event; his guidance had propelled her into the top ten. She suspected Orion was "Time Rewind," but the timing didn't quite match.

Could her rebirth have altered her past so significantly that she missed meeting him? A pang of loss resonated within her.

That night, Lemira streamed as scheduled. Viewers quickly reached the tens of thousands.

"[She's cheating! Wait for her to slip up]," one viewer wrote.

"[The salt! Some guys attack women gamers because they lack skill!]," another countered.

"[If she's legit, why hide her face? Probably boosting!]," a third added.

Before Lemira could respond, someone sent three expensive gifts. The top fan's name, SkyBlaze, caught her eyeโ€”it was Alaric.

He commented, "[Lemon's got the skills. I'm here to scout her.]"

The chat exploded. Alaric was a huge name, his verified account undeniable. Lemira sneered, unfazed, "Let's get this match started!"

Hearing that familiar voice, Alaric nearly jumped out of his chair. Was that Lemira?
